Potluck at noon followed by Mardella Freund presenting the history of the "Orphan Train". What a story! You will want to hear Mardella tell the story of her mother as a small child on the Orphan Train. Did you know that the Orphan Train lasted for 75 years? It transported more than 250,000 oprhaned, abandoned, and homeless children from New York to 47 states and Canada, with the majority going to the Midwest states. One in 25 people today are connected to an Orphan Train Rider. This is rally going to be an iteresting program and you won't want to miss this because in April we will be traveling to Concordia to visit the Orphan Train Museum.
